Disneyland Paris for Christmas

Let me start off with a little story. Last April Rusty and I were visiting Paris and planned to spend our last day there at Disneyland. We bought tickets online, printed them at our hotel, and walked to the train station. From there, we took the train to another station, where we waited for another train that would take us to Disneyland. After almost two hours, we finally arrived and were so, so excited to get in and get going. The worker went to scan my ticket aaand it wasn't working. They had me step aside and talk with a manager. It turned out that the ticket we bought couldn't be used until 24 hours after purchase. What kind of a lame rule is that?! Our plane left the next day, so we were not able to come back. We argued with the manager for a while, but had no luck. Tears may or may not have been shed. It was so sad.

So, as excited as I was to finally go to Disneyland Paris and during Christmas time, I tried to keep my excitement in check, in case we had any more catastrophes. I braced myself as they scanned my ticket, but the light turned green and the turn-style worked! Woohoo! Success!

We only had one day to cover two parks- Disneyland and Disney Studios, so we pulled out our map and got right to work. Luckily the parks are much smaller than the ones in California. We started in Adventure Land and worked our way around. We stayed until closing- is there any other way? They did a light show against the castle when the park closed, which I loved. I was super excited for the parade, but the light show was way better.

Since I am still practicing my stick shift driving I drove us to Disneyland and home! It was one of the best days. I am ready to go back!
